There are so many steps to making sure our honeybees produce all the goodness we bring to you.
Of course, it starts with giving them a good place to live and harvest all of nature's bounty.
Then there's all the work they need to perform inside their homes, the beehives.
As Apiarists or bee managers, we have to assist them by providing ideal living conditions.
Throughout the spring and summer, they are "busy as a bee".
Then in late summer, we can smell the nectar curing to become honey. Oh, what an aroma.
Soon we must harvest the honey. And oh, what a job it is to carry this heavy load.
In the late fall and winter, we see to it that they are protected from the wind and able to stay warm through deepest winter.
